The 5th Colors Day
Colors Day is an event that takes place every year in Thessaloniki. This event is based on the Holi ancient festival of India where thousands of people gather together to throw various colors at each other. There is loud music playing and there are also drums to celebrate Holi. Being inspired by Holi a team called Sfina organizes a "colors festival" each year in the co-capital of Greece. The festival does not have a religious character but aims to share love and give smiles. In this years event there were djs,an orchestra,drummers & 10,000 people. It was the second time I've been to this event and I had a blast! If you live in Greece or plan a visit you should definitely go see this spectacle. Here are some photos I took while I was there:
